Mission Statement
Our mission is to help our clients discover their
healthiest bodies and best selves through the Pilates method of movement.
Values
We believe every person who reaches out to Pendleton
Pilates, either in person or by phone or by email, is a person who is poised to
make a fundamental and important change in their life. It is our commitment to
greet them each and every time as though we can already see their future self
we are thrilled to help them on their journey.
We believe that if a body is in intentional, supported motion with the breath,
it will heal.
We believe the Pilates system is the most democratic system available to put
the human body in intentional, supported motion.
We believe that if you don’t understand us, we haven’t been clear.
We believe in right action. If we come to know of a problem or a concern, we
will engage in a course of action to correct the problem or address the
concern.
We believe that pain and anxiety come when there is imbalance and confusion and
change. We commit to creating an environment for ownership, management, staff,
trainees and clients where we seek to honor each other and communicate clearly,
without judgment or negativity.
We believe that if we commit 100% to helping others be their best self, our
best self will emerge.
Goals
To understand the Pilates method historically and in
today’s context in order to create a sustainable, enjoyable, rigorous and
engaging movement system for our clients.
To create opportunities for our clients to improve their body and their life
through Pilates.
To create opportunities for our teachers to improve their knowledge of the body
and the Pilates system.
To create multiple tracks for growth within the organization.
To seek outside assistance when we need it.
To create a sustainable company that nurtures, sustains and feeds those who
help it grow.
